Hola meinem Freunden!
I’ve been busy these past few weeks. Very busy.
I wish I could say I’ve been super-productive at writing books… but that would be lying. No, instead I’ve had to clear my childhood home of stuff before its sale closed. And I’ve been working on getting the Fun with Fiction podcast back up and running (just released episode 11!). I’ve also been building the Mind in the Martial Arts community. So, I’m serving people on all fronts, and making very little money from the ventures so far.
Not that I’m complaining. I’m doing what I love, or helping people that I love. It’s worth it.
(My brother Nate, my son Tyrion, and I, being our normal selves on Grandma’s porch)
But still. Hectic.
I have been writing a new comic book series for my friend Nick’s new company, Parable Comics (website pending). I can’t say much, other than that it’s an alternate-reality film noir-style series, with cops and criminals that aren’t quite human, and twists and turns that would blow M. Night Shyamalan‘s mind. It’s gonna be awesome.
Nick and I will be on-hand at Mighty Con Comic Show in Wheaton, IL on September 27th. I’ll be signing books and stuff and having a grand old time. If you’re in the Chicago area, come on out to my booth and say hi! I’d love to meet you.
If you’re interested, take a look of my last walk-through of my parents house below. It may be dull for some, but I do narrate it with fun true stories of stealing Halloween candy, getting concussions, and other glorious activities from my childhood. I hope you enjoy.
And if you haven’t yet, please sign up for my email list, to get free books and hear about new stuff that I’m up to. No spam, all fun and interesting shtuff, I promise.
Thanks for reading! You rock.
